WELCOME

IN WATER OUR NATURAL SURVIVAL INSTINCTS CAUSE US TO LIFT OUR HEADS AND MOVE OUR LIMBS IN WAYS THAT WASTE ENERGY AND CAN LEAVE US FEELING EXHAUSTED, THE AVERAGE HUMAN SWIMMER CONVERTS JUST 3% OF ENERGY AND POWER INTO FORWARD MOTION. CONVENTIONAL TEACHING METHODS THAT FOCUS ON KICKING AND PULLING, FURTHER REINFORCE OUR INHERENT AWKWARDNESS IN THE WATER.

I teach students how to co-operate with the water, understand how to co-ordinate and connect with your whole body and create movement patterns to move through the water rather than work against it.

Swimming is an essential life skill,
but unlike aquatic mammals swimming efficiently isn’t encoded into our DNA.

Breaking swimming down into simple steps, students engage both body and mind to swim with more ease, efficiency and speed.

This allows each student to learn great swimming technique right from the start and gives them the knowledge and understanding to become their own best coach.
